This gorgeous lightweight shot silk shantung is made with navy and sand colored threads resulting in a sophisticated iridescent rose-taupe color (Pantone® 17-1510 Antler). This silk has variations in color that look like darker and lighter areas running horizontally through the fabric. It’s a wabi-sabi that you will need to embrace, or work around it. The fabric weight is 14.5 mm (63 gsm and 1.9 oz). It has a smooth hand and crisp drape. The drape is very typical for a shantung and lends itself to lightweight structured garments and sculpted pleats. This fabric will make you feel special when you let your creativity roam free. It’s suitable for tops, pleated dresses, skirts, accessories, and sculpted and origami details. 100% Silk. 44″ Wide. (H/D)
