Description
This mask is worn tightly fitted around the face with no inward or outward air leakage from around the mask perimeter. Two valves are used instead of one valve to increase the effectiveness of the exhale function. The mask is secured to the face using two adjustable elastic straps (one around the neck and another around the head). We found that wearing the three-layers valved mask was more comfortable than the face masks made with two layers of cotton fabrics and no exhalation valves. Additional Details…
This mask is made-to-order in three sizes (Adult, Child age 6 & Up, and Child age 3 to 5) and in a wide selection of 100% cotton fabrics. Note: Child 3-5 size mask is made without the exhalation valves or the aluminum nose clip. The mask is made-to-order – Please allow 3 to 7 days for your order to ship.
Materials used:
- 100% cotton fabric for the first outer layer.
- Pellon ShiTailor (TM) 950F non-woven fusible interfacing (both as a filter and for added structure) for the second layer.
- 100% cotton lawn fabric for the lining.
- Two adjustable strips of 1/4″ black knit elastic extended by two strips of 1/4″ black satin ribbon.
- Two exhalation valves (Not available on masks for Child 3-5 size). Black valves for dark-toned fabrics. White valves for light-toned fabrics.
- One embedded Aluminum Nose Clip. (Not available on masks for Child 3-5 size).

Washing Instruction: Hand wash or place in a lingerie bag for machine wash, gentle cycle, in cold or lukewarm water using mild soap. Do not use fabric softener. Hang to dry. May be steam-pressed to remove wrinkles or to further sterilize – Make sure that the hot iron does not touch the exhalation valves.
