Description
This Italian gem of a textured boiled wool features a large black and gray chevron pattern (Pantone 18-5206 Thunderstorm). The chevron lines, approximately ½ inch thick, form 2-inch wide columns with a 4.5-inch horizontal and 4-inch vertical repeat. Every 4.5 inches, the chevron lines break, adding visual sophistication to this otherwise simple geometric pattern. The black sections are made of semi-opaque mesh fabric, while the charcoal sections are boiled wool. The back side of the fabric has an edgy texture, with irregularities and “holes” that can be used for contrasting design details. This fabric is medium weight at 267 gsm (7.9 oz), offering a moderate drape and 20% horizontal stretch. Perfect for tops, sweaters, jackets, softly structured skirts, and dresses.
