Description
This fabric is a gorgeous silk jacquard in a geometric print. The print colors are in the red and rust family, including rust brown, russet brown, dark red, maroon, wheat, and dark teal blue (Pantone 18-1246 Umber, 19-1535 Syrah, 19-1555 Red Dahlia, 19-1541 Roasted Russet, 19-3921 Black Iris). The print is made of 1″ diagonal stripes filled with small geometric shapes. The fabric is separated into panels with horizontal tan-colored stripes that are about 1/2″ wide and are spaced 35″ apart. This fabric is sold by a panel, each 35″ long. You will receive 35″ long piece when you order 1 yd. Also, please be aware that this fabric has a water stain. The roll got wet on one end during the transport. This caused the colors to bleed (see the photos). The section that is affected is 9″ wide along one of the selvages. We have discounted this fabric significantly because of this. This jacquard is light-to-medium weight at 16.9 mm (73 gsm or 2.2 oz). It has a dry hand and a full and willful drape. You could use the stripes diagonally or you could cut a garment on a bias effortlessly using stripes as a guide. You could also use this fabric for a luxurious lining and ignore the water stain. It’s suitable for softly fitted tops, shirts, dresses, full skirts, and lining for a jacket or a light coat. 100% Silk. 45″ Wide. (H/D)
