This spectacular wool jacquard is a fabulous choice for a light coat or a sweater. Wool is a classic choice for coats, just like John Keats “To Autumn” that inspired the name of this fabric. Terry-textured flowers about 3″ in diameter in vulcan blue rise over the blue background with a slight touch of metallic. White and gold stripes run vertically with 6.125″ horizontal repeat. Flowers horizontal pattern repeat is 12.5″ and vertical pattern repeat is 12.5″. Vertical pattern is comprised of alternating horizontal bands of dark and light colors. You will need to account for these in your layout. Dark band is 7.5″ wide. Light band is 5″ wide. Please note that this fabric is sold in 12.5″ increments in dark-then-light order. Price below is for 12.5″ length. If you order 1 – you will receive 12.5″, if you order 2 – you will receive 25″, and so forth. The fabric is very soft with malleable drape. It is not scratchy, which makes it a suitable choice for unlined coats, ponchos, and capes. Floral pattern has a subtle feel of an animal print.
