Description
This unusual find is a silk satin organza in a wine color (Pantone 19-2024 Rhododendron). Please note that the photo appears to be lighter than the actual color of the fabric, which is a dark wine. The right side of the organza has a satin weave, making this fabric heavier and more opaque than typical silk organza. It has a fine weight of 13 mm (56 gsm or 1.7 oz) and boasts a smooth hand with a voluminous drape. Organza drape often softens slightly after washing. This fabric is suitable for structured garments, architectural details, sharp pleats, pintucks, underlining, and light lining where structural support is desired. 100% Silk. 54” Wide. (H/D)
