This fabric is luxurious and opulent shot silk shantung in muted rose-pink color (Pantone® 17-1718 TPG Dusty Rose). This fabric is made with 2 colors of threads, light rose pink and black, and this gives it color depth and unique character. This shantung is medium weight (for a shantung) at 19.4 mm (84 gsm or 2.5 oz). It has a smooth hand with hardly any slubs, and crisp drape. The drape is very typical for shantung and dupioni and lends itself to lightweight structured garments and sculpted pleats. Let your creativity shine and this fabric will make you feel special.
