This double-cloth stretch rayon has a superb quality. It will make a gorgeous gown! The color is a soft black. This fabric has two layers tightly woven together. It is a solidly-medium weight at 264 gsm (7.8 oz) similar to the weight of a double crepe. Unlike a crepe, this fabric is smooth. It is matte, not shiny. It has a 20% horizontal stretch. It has a smooth hand and a gorgeous weighted drape. Its suitable for special occasion and softly structured or full garments: jackets, skirts, and dresses. Rayon/Lycra. 54″ Wide. From Italy. (H/D)
