Designer Fashion from your Sewing Room

Couldn't resist sharing this info with those of you who love designer styles. We were thrilled to see the new Vogue pattern book recently where we found an Anne Klein jacket made up in a fabric we just brought into stock. The fabric is a printed silk matka in earthy greens and neutrals. The print design is a shadowy foliage motif.
It doesn't happen often that both the fabric and the pattern are available to the home sewer. Of course, most of us prefer to put our own stamp on our garment construction, but sometimes its fun to be able to duplicate the designer garment.
You can view the pattern at http://www.voguepatterns.com Search for 2953. We'll have the fabric ready to market in the web store by next week.

Is there a place to share photos with designs made from SawyerBrook fabrics or patterns purchased from you ?

Proud wife of Earl and 3 great sons. I've been sewing since I was a child and just recently decided to get back to garment sewing after years of quilting.

You can post pictures in any of the forums, deciding based on the discussions. However, I just created a new forum Recent Projects (formerly a topic under Your Vision) for those who want to post photos of their creations featuring SBDF fabrics. For instructions on how to post visit the photos, go to the Information Forum and find the sticky about posting images.

We love Pics!!
