Just read the trend report on Style.com this morning. I always find the runway show reviews interesting. Sometimes I just like to inhale some of the creative energy from the garments, other times I try to figure out how the trend will be interpreted on Main Street. You can find links to some of my favorites on Barb's Blog.
The ones that were the most interesting to me were in the group Vogue editors called Geometry Lessons. Several had really, really exaggerated sleeves and shoulders. I wondered how that would show up in ready-to-wear. Then along comes an email from Vogue Patterns. It's not the same look, but it made me think that these sleeves could be very pleasing when tamed for consumption. Take a look at both.
