Tonight I got all four pockets stitched in place on my jacket fronts. Whew! That felt like a major accomplishment. I can't remember the last time I sewed on patch pockets.
My pockets are not perfect. I have come to terms with that. They are what they are. From far away they look pretty good. Up close they are nice, but certainly not absolutely precise.
I'm glad they are done. I'm ready to move onto the more fun parts of the jacket! This week when I'm at SB, I'll talk to Dixie about some buttons. After working on these pockets so much, making buttonholes sounds easy.
Barb, I know what you mean about the linen being sort of coarse and sort of soft. Mine definitely has texture and a personality of its own sometimes.
