Hi Everyone -
I've recently attended a weekend sewing retreat - 2 evenings and 1 1/2 days of sewing with 10 other like-minded ladies! What a treat to be able to work on projects for ourselves or community causes, without the demands of home and work intruding on us. I thought I'd post a couple of photos to share with you. FIrst is Pat Kane, an ASDP member and SB customer, who wins the prize for most garments completed during the retreat - she knocked out 2 pair of pants and a reversible vest, start to finish, and was well on her way on an embellished jacket before we left, and I think she did a couple of alterations as well - I know I pinned hems on one pair of pants. Here's a photo of Pat in her pants - the fabric is Bamboo in beige, the pattern is Louise Cutting's One-Seam pants.
