I bought the fabric Peach Yoyurt (100% Rayon – Ann Taylor) but don’t know what to make out of it. The color of the fabric is so soft and feminin. So I decided to make a suit that has a “feminin” look to match the fabric.
So here it is. This jacket has a front zipper. The soft bow and loops made of peach chiffon give it a nice touch! Both pieces (pants and jacket) are lined.
I used the Butterick pattern B4355 as my base for the jacket. However I had to change the pattern a lot to come up with this design - to have the zipper as front closure instead of buttons, and to make the neck line a little bit bigger to have more chiffon loops going through the neck line.

Absolutely beautiful! What a lovely way to use the fabric, and the chiffon threaded through the grommets is an amazing touch - goes so well with the zippered front closure! I agree with Lois, you'll feel simply stunning in this suit!
