ISo Many Fabrics…
Here at SBDF we know it’s spring, not when we see the robins, but when we see Red Red Robin and other spring inspired fabrics fly on out of here into your sewing rooms. Others that have made the flight in recent weeks include: Napoli, SoBe, Freida, Chalet, Hana, Seavine, Faerie, Lake Blue Tencel (more colors in similar goods coming soon), Red Wagon, Peach Yogurt, Bal Harbour, Pistachio Lace, and Tulip Pink Lace.
So what are we all making??? Won't you share your plans? You don't have to have it done or even started, but your musings may inspire others with the same or similar fabrics. Save them from the stash pile, inspire us!

I shouldn't have with all the fabric I haven't started yet, but I just sent in an order for Wedding Cake to make a shirt style jacket with a tie belt and 3/4 sleeves to wear with jeans or jean shorts and a white t-shirt.
I also have the pistachio lace to make a short knit top either over t-shirts or a shirt I am making with another of your fabrics. I don't remember the name but it is a cotton stretch with a bold print that has the green in it.
I recently ordered some fabrics I think you're out of - a green cotton stripe for shirting that coordinated with a dark green for shorts & jacket, and Laplacian for a light weight jacket for work.
I guess that will keep me busy for now.

Wedding Cake has been very popular with our subscribers and now that it's on the web, I expect it to move quickly. Our resident bridal expert, Evelyn, came up with the name! Your jacket sounds lovely, a different take on that fabric. I love the idea and hope you'll share a pic when it's done!
Colleen loves the Pistachio Lace and I know she'll be eager to see your creation. Carole was thrilled when she saw Laplacian...the subtle tweed is just her cup of tea. I'm not sure if she added it to her collection or not. Will you make a tailored jacket with it or something less structured? Anyone else using these fabrics??

| I was going to make a tailored jacket (V2925) but I'd love to see other people's ideas.
