My latest project is a cool purse from the Amy Butler Pattern Company. It's called a Frenchy Bag, and I made the shoulder bag (as opposed to the much smaller handbag). It went together very well, with very clear directions. But I think the smaller handbag would make an awesome gift, and plan to make a few for friends. Does anyone have any thoughts on good SB fabrics for this project? They should be three coordinating, relatively sturdy fabrics. The pattern actually suggests home-dec fabrics, but many of those are just not cute enough for this purse! Thoughts?
