Linen, linen everywhere! Tank tops. Loose shirts. Little shirts. Pants of all lengths and widths. Skirts short and long. Full dresses. Slim dresses. Some of the dresses, skirts, and tanks are cut on the bias. Machine embroidery embellishment can be tonal or contrasting. Self-fabric fringes appear at all hemlines, including sleeves, and inserted in horizontal bodice seams. Also seen are self-fabric small ruffles as an alternative to fringe. Pintucks in both directions create an interesting detail. There are so many options!
The colors range from delicious to classic. Many of these are of washed linen, a finish we can create ourselves. However, the La Fred Athena blouse works beautifully in crisp linen. It made up quickly for me. The neckline is very flattering. The unlined jacket view is a wonderful cover-up for all the previously mentioned garments. Stop worrying about the wrinkles and just have fun with this classic fabrication.
