What’s Old is New

What’s Old is New

Look at this wonderful embroidered linen!!  The color was removed enhance the viewing of the embroidery.  The true color is a slightly warm tea-dye neutral.  You can read the details and see an color photo if you click here. It truly looks like an heirloom piece…the quality of the embroidery is impeccable, the color is antiquish, and the 5% rayon gives the fabric more drape and softens the hand.  Everyone who has seen this has assumed it was re-fashioned from an antique piece.  Of course, curators would know the difference, but if you want the look of old, this will certainly do the trick.

    DOUBLE THE FUN LINEN
I like this concept and I love both color schemes – all my colors! 2 Questions – How much would this crease? When will this be available?
    Many thanks.

These fabrics are quite soft in hand already, which means a little less wrinkling, but they are , after all, 100% linen so the wrinkle factor will be there.
Watch for these on the web by the end of April.

My grandson has some soft leather shoes (more like booties) that are so nice. I’ve found a pattern similar to them. Denver Fabrics has lots of faux leathers but I’m wondering which ones to use or what type of leather would be best for this project?
    Thanks

Judy We don’t carry faux leather. Why not contact someone at Denver? I’m sure they’d have suggestions for you.
