Nancy D has been summer sewing!

Nancy D has been summer sewing!

I was in a hurry to sew it (the maxi dress) because we were leaving on vacation and in my haste I forgot all about the taupe triangular insert! I didn’t scold myself too much though and went ahead and sewed it up. It’s a great Christine Johnson pattern and the fabric is very comfy & drapes beautifully! The fabric is Spinning Round, our fabulous viscose knit from France.

The pictures taken on my iPhone aren’t the best, but I’m very pleased with the project results. The (skirt) fabric was so easy to work with (once I drew out the patterns!) 🙂 Thanks for your help figuring out how much to purchase for each granddaughter.    Nancy used both colorways of Sound Waves, our rayon challis.
