Make Sawyer Brook Yours

After 24 years as owner of Sawyer Brook Distinctive Fabrics, I will be retiring this fall.  The time has come for me to move on to the next phase of my life and I sincerely look forward to it.  That said, I would very much like to see Sawyer Brook move forward and thrive without me.
  • Sawyer Brook Distinctive Fabrics is ideal for someone wanting to expand their current business
  • Sawyer Brook Distinctive Fabrics is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to get into the fashion fabric business

Some facts you should know if considering the purchase of Sawyer Brook Fabrics:

  • We have a state of the art, mobile friendly website, having upgraded less than one year ago.
  • The business is a moveable feast that can be located anywhere in the U.S.
  • For the experienced business person, it is ready to go without added effort
  • For a novice owner it is an ideal plug and play scenario.
  • The Sawyer Brook name is well known in the industry and our reputation is untarnished.

Without question, Sawyer Brook is ripe for a new voice and an infusion of energy that only comes with the enthusiasm of a new owner.
I can honestly say I have never worked a day since I bought SBDF in 1991.  It has been a wonderful ride and a joy to work with my customers and everyone else in the industry.

If you know of anyone who would have an interest in buying SBDF, please contact me as soon as possible at barb@sawyerbrook.com.
In the meantime, we are adding new fabrics to our website weekly. To stay current, please be sure you are on our e-mail newsletter list.  Join Our List here.

I just “found” you and was thrilled with my first purchase, so selfishly I am sad. But! I wish you happiness and contentment as you move onto a new life phase. My best to you, Alice

Thank you so much for your comment Alice. We remain hopeful that we will find a buyer to continue the Sawyer Brook tradition.

I really believe that if the craft community at large knew about your fabulous monthly swatch service you’d have a giant following. Perhaps getting featured on the various sewing and design blogs like design sponge, etc., would give you massive exposure.
